INTERPRETING

Project examples, partly through agencies:

• hearings and trials at local and regional courts, esp. criminal law, family law  (consecutive and simultaneous) and other court assignments (e.g. at detention centres or psychiatric hospitals)
• 'Notar' (civil-law notary) interpreting (e.g. real estate transactions, marriage contracts, wills, company formations)
• international sales meetings of a manufacturer of high-quality swimwear and lingerie incl. presentation of new collections, Germany/Austria (simultaneous, since 2012)
• Austrian shoe manufacturer: international Retail Meetings incl. presentation of new collections (simultaneous, since 2018)
• ceiling systems manufacturer: Group Management Meetings (simultaneous, 2013-2016)
• spa/hot tub dealer: regular training events for sales reps and technicians (simultaneous, since 2008)
• hydraulic lifting, loading and handling systems manufacturer: supplier days in Austria (simultaneous, since 2007)
• international building systems company: semiannual Supervisory Board meetings (simultaneous, since 2017)
• for one of the top German football clubs: business meetings, through the club's interpreting agency

I have also had the chance to interpret for the coach of one of the most successful German football clubs, a famous Spanish opera singer, a well-known TV presenter and the German federal minister of transport - all real highlights of my career!

  organising seminars for medical practitioners, giving one-day NFP seminars in London and Dublin, practice management, managing the website and two of the practice's email addresses (mainly from Germany but spending 2-3 weeks per year in London)
• 2008-2009:
  Additional qualification: NFP (Natural Family Planning)/Sensiplan
